I did before and after rides with same ambient temps. at 60 degrees. Monday (after) I was wearing slacks while riding for work and didn't notice any adverse temp gage affects of the panels. One bar above "C" while riding and two bars in stop and go traffic. As for lower leg heat these panels did keep the heat from flowing out the rear as tested with a bare hand while riding. Enough heat wraps around the louvered faring for warmth in cooler weather.
The true test will come as the temps. near 90. No sign or smell of melting either. Since only one flap was used to make both panels I may refine the shape of the right side to fit the clutch cover better.
Will update as time goes on.
