這邊車主提到,他在第一次保養時店家提供了免費的供油電腦調整服務,可以有類似解封印的效果。
車主在去做第一次保養和調整供油電腦時和技師打屁了一下,得到一些訊息:
1、技師由訓練課程時得知的引擎規格和擎內部構造推論,這顆引擎基本上是為了多種排氣量所設計的(他覺得可以對應到350c.c.),並且只要進行氣缸、活塞以及供油的調整,就可以達到引擎排氣量的變更。他並且估計在半年至一年內,Bajaj (和KTM合作製作 125 Duke的印度公司)就會進口200c.c.的升級套件。
2、現有的排氣管口徑不足以讓引擎完全發揮,推測是為了讓車子能夠符合歐洲的 125c.c. 最大 15 匹馬力的法規。
3、英國今年只進了300台 125 Duke,而且大部分賣完了。現在不買可能要等明年。

| i have 100 miles left before my first service and the ecu remap which as i'm told will transform the bike to have "really aggressive acceleration" apparently, though i don't see how with out upping the cc or changing cogs |

| had the remap done today and its a little quicker off the mark and seems to rev better but not really had a proper ride yet. i did have a good natter with the mechanic about the bike in general. He says hes had a look at the engine internals and specs while on a training course for the bike and they are massively over engineered, the engine was designed as a multi range platform with the capacity to go to 350cc with only a different cylinder and piston then remap. he reckons Bajaj will import a 200cc upgrade kit within the next 6-12 months but not through KTM for what ever reason
also at present the engine is very restricted by the exhaust with only 50-60% of the port diameter used!!! thats choking the engine to death!!! and making it a learner legal 15hp (wonder what difference a new pipe would make? it might even get to 78mph lol) He also confirmed the uk is only getting 300 bikes this year...... and most are already sold, so if ya want one you'll have to be quick!!!! or you could have wait until the new year |
